I wish you lots of luck and a super speedy recovery. Surgery and hospital are no fun, but if the end result takes your pain away, it'll be worth it.

Just be sure you have a strong family presence while you're in the hospital. That always helps get what you want and need. Maybe I can convince my mom to do that part...she's excellent in the "patient advocate" role.

My good friend had a hip replacement last September. He is in such wonderful shape now as he made sure and did his physical therapy and was motivate. I think having a good attitude got him where he's at now. (He does spinning at the gym 4 times a week, at 63!!) That is my wish for you...to be even better with your new bionic knee then you ever where with your 'real' one.
