Oh no not Fister! Trevor is wringing his paws waiting to hear if his good buddy is going to respond quickly to the medicine. We will anxiously await news! I had to pill Trevor once and it wasn't too hard once I got him "in position." HA! The problem was when he'd see me approaching with the pills he'd take off! LOL! Be a good boy Fister and hurry and get well!

LOL! Pam, I've got it down to perfection; approaching him with a pill. He doesn't suspect a thing! I'm glad there's no side effects - so they say!

He's now settled down on top of John in bed, they're watching TV.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, he appreciates it!

  4. I made the mistake of coating Eddie's worm pills with vitamin paste. He LOVED vitamin paste. Now he sees me with the tube and runs!

I'm so sorry to hear that Fister's not well. I'm glad to hear that you're able to pill him. I sure hope that the pills do the trick. Get well soon Fister.

When I adopted Storm he also had blood in his stool and it turned out to be coccidia. I think he had to take a medicine called Albon Suspension. It was in liquid form and smelled good but he hated it. Luckliy it did the trick.

Oh, sorry to hear you ruined the Vitamin paste treat, Sara. Do you think he'll ever forget? I used to do the same to get the pill down!

Fister here! Eddie, my mom used to do those tricks on me - now, she doesn't stand a chance - I know exactly what's going on, and I'm licking all the goodies off and just leave the pills! I can hear you have figured it out also.

Pam, Fister regards Trevor a very good pal, he sends lots of headbumpies and purrs. You know, he's also one of my favourites.

Yes, it's all a matter of getting them in the right position, isn't it! And the more relaxed they are, the better!

Fister had his two pills - eventually. This is his reaction to them.

I checked his stool this morning and could not see any blood. He puked once around midday, but he seems to be OK.

Thanks for all your well wishes, I'm sure they helped.

Oh Fister, I know those pills are nasty, but you have to take them to stay healthy.

I'm so glad to hear there's no more blood. Hopefully that's it then and you're done with all your medicines. By the look on your face, I can tell that you hope so too.

Well ..... yes, the pills seemed to work, but still, I'd like to know what the problem was.

He puked again today, not much and only liquid. He's still getting his "sensitive tummy" diet food + a little of his normal Hills C/D mixed in sometimes.

He let me clip 3 of his nails today.

  15. Eddie seems to finally have forgotten and is enjoying his vitamin paste again.

Edwina puked her worm pill and I was so worried she would still have the worms but both recieved a clean bill of health or at least worm-free bill of health!
