I would not recomend a rabbit for her. Only because she gave up her cat (I think, I need to know more) Bunnies are harder to care for then dog's, cats, hamsters or rats. Yes, I have had all these animals so I can say that bunnies are harder to care for. I have 3 dog's, 4 cats and 2 bunnies the 3 dogs and 4 cats are MUCH easier to care for then bunnies. So, if she can't care for a cat (again, I'm not sure why she gave it up or anything) then I don't think she can care and comit to a rabbit.
