Your hands look fine to me. I love that sapphire! I can't wear rings because I am an artist and tend to get them covered in paint, stain, whatever. I also am a klutz and have knocked more than a few stones out of their settings. My sapphire that I LOVED has a huge crack in it My hands always lok unwashed! SEriously. I don;t know how often I wash them and clean under my nails, but they always make me look like Orphan Annie needs a bath.
