Could you give me the recipe, please? We use a cookie sheet. And when we bake, we always set the oven for about 15 degrees less than the recipe said because we have a Maytag Gemini and it does go hotter than other ovens. (supposedly lol)We always use the one on the back of the Tollhouse package.
If you bake them for less time, they'll turn out softer.
Do you use a baking stone or a cookie sheet? It may be that your oven runs hot too. Do you have an oven thermometer?
