Yeah it's sad how they do that to the breeds... I'm REALLY hoping that doesn't happen to Border Collies... I also have a working Border.. He's pretty long-legged, slim, medium fur length (not as long as a show BC's fur), with a long nose and pricked ears...and VERY agile and fast (he outran an Afghan Hound once at the dog park ) ... as Borders should be..

I don't like the way the show BC's look with the stubby little nose and all that fluff that you rarely see a real working BC having. Plus they don't seem to have that intense look that most BC's have... which is a major characteristic of the breed...the Border Collie 'eye'...
