Actually there are "two New Jerseys" - North Jersey and South Jersey. I am a South Jersey girl now, although I was born in Philadelphia. In North Jersey they say JOIZY but us South Jersey folks are not so "New Yorky" sounding!

One of my favorite Pet Talkers has the cutest lil ole southern accent! In case you couldn't guess - it is Logan! I love hearing her talk!
I had a boyfriend a long time ago from New Joizy. He'd say "Hey, Taawnya, bring me a glass of wata...." hehe. I loved it whenever he said my name. He'd get mad at me and say I'm the one with the funny accent.
