Another one: When people spell their kids' names all funky for the sake of "creativity". What kid wants to grow up with a name like "Vychtoriyeh" (YES, I know of someone with that name!) The kid's just going to have to go through life having to correct people about the spelling of their name, which I know can get annoying.
