Definitely sounds like a UTI. Can you get a urine sample? It's doubtful that she would be exhibiting post spaying hormonal related incontinence so soon post spaying. My Cody has been treated for that for years. But it was several months after the spaying that she started leaking. This sounds much more like infection. With hormone related incontinence, they urinate normal amts. at normal intervals, but "leak" unexpectedly, i.e. while sleeping, sitting, etc. UTI's are fairly common after surgeryI wouldn't wait until Saturday, though. I'm surprised the vet said to wait until then..."if she doesn't get better."
She's probably experiencing quite a bit of discomfort and within a day or two, the infection can definitely worsen. Could you call them back? Maybe they'll let you bring in a urine sample for testing without an exam? I hope you can get her in asap. Feel better sweet Abby
