Thanks, guys, for your support! The new calico, who is now tentatively named "Miko" (short for Mikiko, a name my sister suggested), is doing fine so far. But it has been a long three days! Miko still tries hard to be friends with Saima, even though Saima is still hissy and growly. But somehow I feel that progress is being made. I'm optimistic that by the end of next week, things will warm up a little between the two. Several times Miko has rolled over and shown her belly to Saima in that tell-tale kitty submissive gesture. Looks very cute, to me, but Saima still has this look of complete contempt on her face, of course! Well, it sure is interesting watching the two cats get to know each other. Sometimes I sing, "Getting to know you, getting to know all about you..." (The King & I) to them! On the day that I come across the two of them cuddled up together, grooming each other, I'm just going to jump for joy!!!
