I am rich -
I have a warm house in which to live.
(Yes, I have a mortgage, but that's
more than many people have.)
I have a spouse who loves me.
(Who does not abuse me, physically or mentally,
which is more many people have.)
I have a family and friends who care.
(And about whom I care.)
I live in a neighborhood of people who care.
(When the ambulance came for the elderly
man next door, we all stood in the street
talking about what we could do to help.)
I can attend whatever church I want.
(More than many can say.)
I have a job. I have health insurance.
(Don't knock it 'til you've had neither.)

I am rich.
