I didn't quite understand what you were trying to say from your post.

No one's TRYING to hurt her.

First time seeing her site, I saw nothing mentioning where she got it from. That is all.

I never said anything was wrong with it now, Did I?
I don't see anyone else being rude, other than that one post GP girl made.

Gee, As for people telling you that you copied your site, You never know until you post it.

Yes, Most everyone is very trusting on PT, although you were trying to be sarcastic with that -- it's true.

On Mickey's site I have a page on training. It talks about housetraining, teaching tricks ect. I didn't know how to put it into my own words and still make it sound good so I took it completly from the Purina Puppy Chow website. I gave credit to it, and provided a link. Would that be okay? Sorry to come into the thread like this but I also don't want to get into any trouble.
I think with links and credit and everything that's perfectly fine, but you also might want to email them and ask permission, just for peace of mind. Most people say yes, because they appreciate being asked, since most people don't.

I still haven't entered Lucy for POTM have I? I will, promise!

Jynelle, please take everyone's advice and listen up. Even if you change words around you still need to give credit. You didn't make it up, period. You read it somewhere. Whether it be a book, online or you got the information from a breeder you need to give credit where credit is due. Rewording it doesn't make it right. People spend a lot of time working on books, and their own sites. I can speak personally that I have worked long and hard on my Rattery site, and believe me it takes hours to get it just right. I am still finding spelling errors in my articles that I need to correct etc. If someone stole anything from my site (which HAS happened) and just rewording it, it's still stealing from my hard work. I just had another Rattery owner after reading my site go change hers to almost identical to what I had on my site, and it really inferiated (sp?) me!

I am wondering how not too long ago you knew nothing about these dogs, and then now all of a sudden you know a breeder and have done all this research?

I noticed on your site at the bottom of your health issues page you remind people to get annual vaccines for their dogs to "keep them healthy".
I was just wondering if you knew that it's now being widely accepted to not get annual vaccines as it is believed that over vaccinating pets can lead to many immune deficiency(sp) problems. In fact vet schools in the states do not even recommend following a yearly vaccination protocol anymore. Instead they say every 3 years.

I just wanted to make you aware of this issue as you recommend it on your site.

Its actually just rabies that they switched to 3 years. All the other shots are still yearly here.

Actually it's not. Many studies are being done on the effects of yearly vaccines. And vet schools are now recommending that people get shots on a 3 year basis.

One other little interesting tidbit of info is that the one year and the 3 year rabies vaccine are the same vaccine, they just have different labels.

Oh and so you don't think I'm spouting off the top of my head I'm going to go find my links to articles on the subject

I believe this is what Cali is doing with her dogs (NOT to bring back an argument..) Kai's due for vaccinations soon..I will have to ask the vet about nosodes and titer testing.

I realize that SOME vets are recommending it, but it is by far NOT the norm AT ALL.

When I checked it out, absolutely nothing was quoted and there were plenty of pictures [not graphics] that sure as hell [sorry, I felt the need to use it] weren't yours. Don't even start with me.....I'm really not in the mood today, and I don't feel like hearing anymore of your lame excuses.
omg moose, you are so ignorant!!!!

omg could it be!! my own graphic!!! wow
let me just post a few more of MY graphics.. that are not stolen from other sites considering I made them BY HAND on paint!!!

humm.. and let me poist a few QUOTES, from my site here..

    MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES!

(")CANCER: Among the most pressing health concerns of great danes today is cancer as the breed has shown a high incidence of tumors, both melignant and benign. Cancers, of course, pose a fatal threat to great danes, and, though its occurrence is largely unpredictable, breeders pay close attention to its presence in their bloodlines and make every effort to avoid breeding direct offspring of cancer victoms.(") (Quoted from the Guide to owning the great dane)

"HEART POBS: The great danes heart presents problems in many bloodlines. Among the heart problems from which the great dane suffers are Cardiomyopthy, Heart murmur, Heart tumors, and subaortic. The form of cardiomypathy that affects great dabes is known as DILATED cardiomypathy (DCM). It is commonly found in large breed dogs. It usually isnt identifable untill at least 3-4 years of age. Signs of the disease include an increased heart rate, unusual intolerance for excercise, difficulty breathing, coughing and general depression.(")( Quote from guide to owning a great dane.)

notice the quotation marks :rolleyes, also notice that on my site, the info that has been quoted is in ITALIC printing :rolleyes, and after each quote I state where it was quoted from...

Humm.. you must have missed it though considering you Went and looked at my site and all

I didn't mean to say it was the norm. Just that it's what a lot of vet schools are now teaching.
