The most cats we have had at one time was 3 plus a foster. Right now, we have two kittens which we have never had before - always adopted adults. Having two kittens is a BLAST. The human kids are all gone so this is how I chose to deal with "empty nest". (My daughter is on the forum - Sirrahsim, mommy to Boomer - she just married and moved to Japan.) There is never a dull day around here. I can't believe how much trouble TWO babies can get into. They really urge each other on - accomplices in crime! FUN!!
I just cannot imagine a house without a cat or two or three!!! There is nothing better than coming home to frisky fun or sleeping angels on the couch! I always have a warm furry body or two in bed with me when I read. Emily likes to snuggle under my chin. No more meals alone - always a furry face close to the plate. No privacy in the bathroom. Shut the door and furry paws appear underneath and the whimpering begins. Wiggle toes under the covers and they get bitten....just a few observations of having two or more cats in the house!!
