Very cute kitties snuggling up to the heater. Our furnace went out last year about this time when it was getting below freezing at night. We had to wait several days before someone could come replace it. We microwaved (2 to 2.5 minutes) our buckwheat pillows and put them down for Halo. She loved it! Supposedly, buckwheat retains the body heat. I do know that I can't sleep on them because they keep me awake with their "crunchy" sound when I move. But the cats absolutely adore them. Stay warm. Oh!, they are also great for people. Microwave them and then prop yourself up and read a book or put it on your cold feet. Ahhhh....
