My name is Vickie (too! Yes! Another "ie" on the web!). I'm 21. I live in WV, which is a pile of hills you have to go through to get from OH to DC, LOL! This is my 4th year of college; I hope to graduate in a year and a half. I am single, have always been single, never dated, and I don't mind staying that way until/unless I can find someone who won't mind playing second fiddle to my pets and can clean up after himself (cold day in h***? You bet...)
I am considering (exotics) vet school, but I don't know if I "have what it takes." You know?
I breed pet rats. They are my pride and joy. I've learned a lot of patience with people by trying not to notice when people cringe if I talk about them. (They NEVER cringe when they meet them. Go figure...)
My parents both teach high school but hope to retire soon. They love my rats.Although sometimes I feel like Dad parades me around like a freak show. ("My daughter raises rats! Let her show you some of her rats!") Dad is a cat person and likes my critters, but isn't fond of dogs.
I live in an apartment with my sister (we go to the same college), the rats, and her betta. We have 5 cats and a dog at my parents' house. I love them to bits, especially April since she is so scared of rats. It's hilarious.
I have a brother in high school who is graduating this year.
