I know the process of declawing. I have seen the process MANY times. I've also seen 2 ways. One in which the 1st joint is removed. Another in which only the part that keeps the claw from growing back is removed, not the joint. I KNOW there is problems along with it sometimes, I have seen it. But only sometimes which is like anything. Smitten is 6 yrs old she was done a long time ago. My cats will not go outdoors at all as they'd have no means to protect themselves. I know that.
