Thanks, everyone.
Her surgery is Wednesday, Aug 20 and the catherization is Tuesday, Aug 19. I probably won't be online for a while, as she will be in ICU at least 5-7 days, and who knows how long after that before she is released. *sigh* Wolf-Q, want to come play scrabble at the hospital with me? 
She had a congenital problem and it was beginning to restrict her blood flow and it restricted her on what she could and couldn't do.
That is exactly what my mom is going through, except her heart problems were caused by rheumatic fever as a child.
