Good news Higgins is now Henry Higgins and is most definatly staying with my friends, he is not house/toilet trained but it is being worked on.

also all the other dogs just sniffed at him when he went home and accepted him strait away (which is wondeful)

my friends rang henrys breeder and told her his story and it turnes out the breeders husband had insisted on giving one his workmates a pup for free, and the wife thought it was suspicious from the beginning and was horrified when she heard about henry being "thrown away"

but all is well and he is happy and has made a couple of good friends with the other labs in the houshold, and he even had an offer from the guide dogs australia to join them for guide dog training (he is not motivated and is a bit slow mentally so it would not have worked out) thank goodness for that

still going to get pics at training today if he comes in for a play and to socialise
