Once every human is safe, I would then go and try to save the animals, and if any of them is gone by that time, although I would grieve and feel terrible, I would feel far worse by neglecting a human being in a burning house to save an animal, and letting that human lose its life in that time.
Well said petsrthebest! It would be more gut wrenching if it were one of my babies I had to let die, but for another person, I'd definitely make the sacrifice. Now if it were just me & the pets I'd die trying to get them out.
