    to weenie or not to weenie............

    the name dachshund literally means dachs (badger) hund (dog) in german. so dacks-hoond is probably closest.

    i have a miniture dachshund who is 12, his name is sidney.

    Just like it's spelled: dachs-hund ("hoont" because a terminal d gets a t sound auf Deutsch)
