Skills not used can be lost. What concerns me more is that
I feel these skills were never acquired in the first place.I don't
know if it's the quality of classes offered in today's schools, the
experience of the teachers, or lack of parental involvement in
children's education. Do they even teach phonics or sentence
structure anymore? Do students still learn how to diagram a
sentence? It's really sad that these basic language skills have
not been mastered by the time students reach their teen years.

I understand typos, I do it myself, but the" every other word"
glaring mistakes makes reading some posts impossible.
