Johanna,
Do you clean your cookies out on a regular basis??? By cookies, I mean temporary internet files.
Every single time you sign onto an internet site, your computer automatically stores it. If you don't clean them out (I do it once a week) it can really slow down your computer.
Try this...click on "start", then "run". Type in the word cookies and hit okay. You'll probably see TONS of temporary internet files that have been saved and can be deleted. The only one you DO NOT want to delete is the "index" which is usually at the top. To save time, click on one of the temp file, hold down the shift key and the down arrow which will make it highlight all the files you want to delete. Remember, don't delete the index. Once they're highlighted, hit "delete". It'll ask you if you want to delete whatever number of files that are highlighted (I did this for my daughter and she had 1,078!!!!!), hit yes and they'll be gone. If there are any more, do the same thing. The only file you want left on that screen is the "index".
Once you've deleted all the temporary files, go into your recycle bin and click on "file". At the top it'll say "empty recycle bin", hit yes.
This SHOULD help. Let me know how you make out. Now I have to go delete MY cookies![]()
