Not really a full-blown URI, he's just sneezing a lot, his upper nasal passages are a bit congested (he has a HUGE schnoz for a cat! even the vet commented on it), no discharge and no fever. He's eating and drinking normally and is well hydrated. The vet said to just watch him to be sure it doesn't progress into anything worse. She said it's probably from the stresses of being in a new forever home and trying to seduce Mitzi and having his advances rebuffed

She weighed him and he's gained 1/10 lb. in just a week! Up to a solid 13 lbs. and still growing! We joked about me having to wheel him around in large shopping cart or using a crane to move him. I'm a petite 5'; I think he might outgrow me! Yikes!

Perhaps I should try some low-salt chicken soup? Works for us humans .... I think my big boy is going to be all right. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.
