I really don't think this is a behavioural thing. He is probably trying to tell you in the only ways he knows how that he is uncomfortable. My Maya when she peed was showing me she was stressed by peeing on things that smelled of me. Adding her scent to mine made her feel better. Now that I'm home more with her she doesn't do it anymore.
