Hey, Bridget. My mother-in-law and father-in-law live in the woods. They have one bear that is usually always around. One day they looked out the door and the bear was out there eating their dog's food and the dog was sitting behind the tree watching it eat. The bear never bothered the dog. They had wondered why Sarah (dog) was eating so much lately. Here it was a bear coming in every night to eat!!! Unless the bear is provoked, I doubt it would attack but I also wouldn't take any chances.
Oh, by the way, I was watching Miracle Pets last night and they had on there about a wolf which made me think of coyotes and I had wandered whatever happened with your coyote problem. What a coincidence that you posted about that today.
