Awww, I'm so jealous of you!!!!!!! How did you convince him????!!!????!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!
Here's what happened to me one day at Petsmart:
Me and my mom and my dad went to Petsmart one day. We saw a beautiful cat we all liked (well, I liked). She was exactly the same age as our Blueberry at that time, and it was also around my birthday. I really really wanted to get her, and my parents talked to the guy there for so long. The guy kept on telling my parents that we should get another one, because two is like nothing, and we could handle it. Well, after talking about it for a long time with that guy, my parents decided to leave and they said "we need to think about it". and that was it, now when I ask, they would say no I was really convinced that we would get that kitty, and I thought they would get her for my birthday, but they didn't. I was really sad. I still am, that I can't get another one.
But I'll never give up, every time we go to Petsmart, I keep on annoying them about getting another one.

Oh well, but I'm really happy for you! If that happened to me, I would be VERY happy too.
