Genia...I think our pugs were seperated at birth! Cassie does the same things with mud puddles! She must know that pugs sink like stones in water, so she does not like water, puddles, snow, or wet ground at all. If she can't walk around puddles when I am taking her for a walk, then she'll either "put her brakes on" before the puddle, or she'll try to become "the super, flying pugglet" and attempt a most non-graceful jump over the puddle. It cracks me up every time she takes a stab at grace and tries to fly over the puddle. She's so funny
Graham's not fond of mud puddles when they are small, but when they are big enough to wade in, as we have in the dog park now, then he enjoys "swimming" in the major puddles. Otherwise he just jumps over them or walks around them.
