What a day... phew, still trying to catch my breath.

Someone from work called me at 6:30 this morning to see if I could take a dog from work in when I went in with Peka. So I went to pick that dog up and took them straight to the vet. The appointment wasn't until 11am but I told them I was just going to hang out in case they could see me earlier. They ended up not taking me until 11 and I was there until 2pm because the dog from work I had with us started having a seizure and I didn't want to leave until he was over that (he's okay - don't worry).

Anyway, Peka is acting much better today. I seriously thought she was dying last night She's now going to be on 4 pills two times a day to help her out. She will have to take them all for the rest of her life One is a long term antibiotic that they commonly use for heart patients, one is a diuretic (pee, pee EVERYWHERE), one is for her blood pressure because the diuretic does something to her blood pressure, and then she's also going to be taking baby aspirin twice a day.

The vet thinks she may have had a stroke last night. If she did, it was probably a mild one. She is doing better now. I feel really guilty but I am going to HAVE to put a diaper on that girl. I've been talking about it for awhile but haven't had the heart to yet. But I just have to. Her meds make her pee SO MUCH! I literally take her outside and the second we get back in she'll be squatting again.

Thats so weird about Chester. Maybe he had sympathy pains, hehe. I'm glad he's back to normal today though. What a scare!

Thank you so much everyone for your prayers and concern. I will keep you updated on the Peka monster.
