Hi lacy, It seems that your cat is in some kind of distress. The things you mentioned are not normal cat behaviour. As Jen said, there are several things that this could be. Given his age and his current problems, I would not wait too long to take him to a vet. Maybe you could take him to an animal emergeny clinic, if your own vet cannot see him right away.
