    Barkley!

    What a smile was on my face this morning when I seen you Barkley You are truly one big, beautiful dog!
    How soft your golden locks must be, I'd just love to snuggle in them!
    Just like your family said, you are a big lovable Teddy Bear, and I hope you have fun enjoying your special day.

    Bella can't tear herself away from my screen this morning!! She is wagging her tail and flirting with Barkley's picture. (For Barkley's humans - she is my standard poodle. )

    What a gorgeous combination of two terrific breeds!!. Barkley sounds like a real sweetheart and he is just gorgeous! Congratulations to Barkley our most deserving, simply awesomely handsome super duper DOG OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!

    Barkley

    I loved your dog Barkley...I have two goldens at home along with a lovable collie mix. My golden Sunny is 2, the other was a rescue golden who wandered into our neighborhood...what a beauty he is. Tell me about how you came to have this wonderful blend of two great dogs... Also, I did see another one before but it was the gold (curly) color. My husband and I lived in TX for five years...90-95 but are back in our home state of MI. Tell me all about your Barkley?     Hi Barkley...my name is Hannah! I'm a poodle mix too, although my other half is cocker spaniel. You are one attractive fella and if'n my heart didn't already belong to another, I think I'd have to give you a chance at my princess self. One thing I want to know is if your folks ever say stuff like *That's the poodle in him*. My folks always say stuff like that. You make a very nice Dog of the Day. You must have some peoples who are very proud of you to submit your name for such a nice honor. People at my house don't seems to know how to do that stuff.

    Barkley looks quite huggable! But are you sure of his parentage? I just ask because he looks a bit like a komondor (shaved down.) But then, I guess a poodleXgolden *would* look a bit like a komondor...

    Here's Dottie, a shaved kom that also lives in the greater Houston area...
