u can get britanys with black markings, but not pure black ones... the standard allows white with roan or liver markings, or tri coloured, but it doesnt even mention fox...Originally posted by wolf_Q
If it's the same thread I'm thinking of, this dog had upright ears and a curled tail....brittanys have drop ears and a cropped tail....doesn't sound anything like it. I have never heard of a fox or a black colored brittany. I thought they were all white with brown spots.and any black markings is a disqualification.
rizzy, do u have a french brittany or an american brittany?
