I haven't been following these threads really since I am sick of bothering, but I do feel the need to reply to one thing.

From what I've noticed it's mainly the pro-war people who think they have divine providence. You know, all the stuff about "God bless the USA" or "God is on our side" and so on. Never really seen it the other way around actually.
