Maybe it was just not fit properly. I use Gentle Leaders (same thing) on very social dogs and it allows them complete freedom to sniff and look any way they want to. If it slides up, it is probably fit too loosely.
no, we have the last size...the other one was waaay to small, and even this one is too small so now we have to resort to something else (other than a haltee)
i saw on tv the affects of a haltee on social dogs and it was a training show that said to never use it on a social dog....my dog is very social and she hates the haltee and ive been after to get something else for quite a while, but i cant find any prong collars and im not sure where we got leathers and that was a long time ago anyways...the dogs they said that r the two worst dogs for haltees are border collies and collies, and she has collie in her, so she qualifies i guess...
