Prayers are on the way for you and your whole family. I'm sure Socks knows he was very loved and is probably telling all the others at the Rainbow Bridge about his wonderful family. I think your parents made the most loving choice for him and he is no longer in pain. He probably feels like a kitten again now. I'm sure you will all be together again some day.
