Today's Cat, Dog, and Pet of the Day are up!

We are finding a new home for Wilder, the pot-bellied pig we took in. He has gored Kermit, and bit him and tried again to bite him, though he's always good with me. But last night he even bit Dusky, our male dog, when Dusky was just walking near him. So he needs a different home. Just wanted to let you know.

Farmer’s Market day, but I will update the sights for tomorrow morning. I know you expect this, but felt I had to post (from my phone) anyway. Finally feels like summer today, hot and sunny!

Karen, have you found a new home for Wilder yet? I'm so sorry to learn about all this happening.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

We ended up having him put down, as we didn't want anyone else to be injured by him, and that is what our vet recommended. We now suspect that behavior is why he needed a new home in the first place, and they just neglected to mention it. It was very sad, but he is buried in the forest.

Oh, I'm sorry. That's very sad for all concerned.

Please remind me.. Why did you adopt him in the first place?

We were told he needed a home because the family that had him (his second family) were about to have their first human baby, and thought it would be too much to handle Wilder and a baby at the same time. There was no mention of any behavioral issues, so he came here.

The vet Kermit has known and trusted for 30 years saw him soon after we got him, and said he'd have to be put down. We tried to give him a chance for a while, but he was getting more aggressive, not less. It was sad.

Folks, as usual, time for Farmer'd Market, so I will update the sites fir tomorrow. Sorry.
