The accident in your lap is probably an indication that there is a physical reason. Poor Galaxy! She probably felt really uncomfortable when it happened.
I hope that her bloodwork will be ok, and that the medications will help, and they should, if it is truly an infection.
One more thing: Your vet should have worked Galaxy in since she is sick! Just saying...

Best wishes, from my kitties as well!

    Thank you, Heidi and Elyse!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Something to keep in mind there, the vet working her in... Maybe I didn't sound urgent enough...

    It's definitely not your fault.
If you are an established client, you should not have been turned away. A sick pet can't wait 2 days. The pet needs help, that's what the vet is there for.
We take work-ins, for an extra fee, which is still cheaper than an emergency clinic. There is always a spot for one more!
    How is Galaxy doing?

Thanks, Heidi. Galaxy seems to be doing just great! At any rate, she hasn't peed on the bedding again.

That's wonderful! Galaxy couldn't ask for a better mom.

    Bloodwork is fine!

Galaxy has done no inappropriate elimination since our vet visit!
