I think we can maybe kick it up a notch, I know we aren't all dead quite yet.
It's very cold in Chicago this afternoon and we got our first snow flurries of the year. I'm drinking black tea right now, but I wouldn't be above having another cup spiked with a little rum after work. It's really cold out!
I got an invitation to a Christmas cookie exchange! I am excited! I've never been to one before. The invitation said to bring 3 to 3 1/2 dozen cookies in a container with a lid. I'm not sure if I pick out a few to bring home, or if the hostess serves coffee and everyone eats the cookies there. I love Christmas cookies! (And Thanksgiving cookies, and Valentine's day cookies, and Easter cookies...)
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.
I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!
Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!
"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

Climate change-- I saw part of a story on the news last night about how glaciers are losing volume because of climate change. I missed the beginning of the report, wish I had seen the whole thing.
It's another grey, yucky day in Chicago and now I have a cold. A respiratory infection went around our office and I caught it. So, once again, I'm drinking lemon tea.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.
