Cats are carnivores, and the bulk and sugar in bananas is not good for them, and would make them feel full so they wouldn't eat the meat with the nutrients they need. A teensy bit from time to time - if kitty is interested in sharing your banana in the first place - won;t do any harm, but it should not be a major part of its diet.
