Hi Buddah! Happy Dog of the Day!

Oh, how lucky are we, having a hunky, handsome celebrity doggie super model as our featured honoree! You truly are a beauty, Buddah, such a stunning blend of two vaunted breeds, embodying all of those traits we cherish in the Malinois and Labrador!

He's been a lean and muscled 55 lbs. all his adult life. He has the focus, intelligence, and intensity of a Belgian Malinois tempered with the sweetness of a Lab. I call him my Belgian Begging Hound

But wait!!!

"Yay!" I thought. "He's got the fetch and retrieve gene!" I adopted him that same day. I stopped at the pet store on the way home and bought a fancy Frisbee, a ball thrower, and extra tennis balls. Little did I know that the meeting at the adoption site was the one and only time Buddha would ever fetch and retrieve a ball for me. At only 8 weeks, he knew how to market himself. I eventually gave away the fetch toys.

Make that super model and super "marketer!" Too funny!!! Well, what you lack in "fetching," you more than make up for in personality and heart, Buddah! A human couldn't hope for a more devoted and loving furkid than you, Buddah! How blessed your mom/dad is, having a best friend and loving companion, a protector, a comforter and healer in you, sweetheart! You're the best, the poster boy for doggie adoption! Keep up the good work, sweetheart, bringing so much comfort and joy to so many, including those dear residents at the nursing home!

Dearest Buddha Lou Who, what an utterly gorgeous Belgian Malinois/Labrador Retriever mixture you are! It is no surprise that you are a professional fashion model! And you have the most delightful personality, too. What a story you and your dear person have to tell. You have been together for 11 years now, ever since you were eight weeks old! You and he/she love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
