    What a sweet looking boy you are! And what initiative you showed, bringing your own friend home with you! I am sure your hoomin and the now-rejected cat buddy were impressed!

    But you gave your friend a wonderful home. What a great-hearted kitty you are. I wish you and Mittens many more happy and healthy years with your mom!

    Hi Patches! Happy Cat of the Day to you, sweetheart!

    What a beautiful boy you are, Patches, inside and out, and not looking half your age, I might add! Your family sure was blessed that day so long ago, the day you chose them to be your forever family! You knew that with them was where you were meant to be, but of course every kitty needs a fur pal, too! (Well, most!) Unfortunately Kanani was not of a like mind, so being the resourceful boy that you are, you went out and brought one home! And what a precious pair you and Mittens make; furry soul mates, best buds for life! So, your family actually got a "twofer" in the deal, hehe, and that makes them truly blessed indeed, doubly blessed!

    Great thanks to your family for sharing your beautiful self, your very touching tale and precious photos with us, sweetheart! Meeting you (and Mittens) sure has warmed and brightened my cold, grey day! Hope you and Mittens are enjoying a very happy, fun filled day, enjoying lots of extra lap and cuddle time, being treated to all your hearts desire and more! You both deserve it!     Good afternoon, Patches! I smiled when I read that you adopted your human, and then you brought home another kitty too! You play together and hurry through the house. You do chipmunk patrol when the weather is fine, looking for any visitors. You observe the birds through the windows. You request a serving of tuna (!), and you stay near the heater vent in chilly weather. You serve as your person's alarm clock kitty, lap kitty, purring machine and love-bug! PURR-fect!

    Thank you all for your kind words. Patches is quite a cool guy. Yes, Kanani eventually warmed up to him even to the point of letting him sleep near her, but not too close.
