    Very true. Dear, departed Halo was a champion at getting out of hers.
    I found Pepper's lying in the floor so many times, I gave up putting one on her since her only time outside is in a fenced in pen (it includes a roof since eagles fly over our house all the time "hunting").
    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

    The 2 old ladies that are about 12, are no problem, and they never take theirs off. The 3 youngsters who are 9 months old, take them off almost as quick as we put them on them. We gave up for now - maybe when they get a little older................ We've been lucky and no one has ever escaped - the old girls are afraid of the great outdoors, but I'm not so sure about the others.
