#23 and 24 - Jonathan Toews is Canadian, but he plays for the Blackhawks. Patrick Sharp- ditto. Thanks, Canada! And lacrosse- some of the high schools around here offer it either as an intramural or a team sport. It's definitely catching on. I've been to Toronto once and I'd like to go there again. And Vancouver, which was so beautiful when the Olympics were there and they showed the city and scenery on TV.

You speak faster than we do, much faster. Your money is much prettier. I hate hockey and lacrosse, but I love football and basketball. When did Canada last win the Stanley Cup? It's been awhile, hasn't it? (L.A. won it this year, yea!) Your people are very nice when they aren't calling us Yanks. We have better beaches than you and you have better candy bars. We keep guns to protect ourselves. I was once robbed by a Frenchie in Vancouver and the police did NOTHING! Could have used a gun to make him think twice. Women are very vulnerable in Canada because, outside of the military, only the bad guys own guns (they come down here and buy them from us, did you know that?) All in all we are very different people, to be sure. I don't think after having lived in Canada for awhile I could ever think we are similar again. You are a tad more polite than us, but only a little. What you did was make me feel very welcome in your country and for all our differences, we are neighbors and should work together for both our goods. End of lecture.
