I will pray for sunshine and cool but not cold temperatures! Boston Marathon folks are always much happier running at 60°F than 80°F!

Thanks Karen. I've no trouble with the cold. I run outside all winter. But I hate to run in the rain.

Just completed my last big run before the half marathon next Sunday. Did 11.7 miles in 2 hours. Next Sunday I will strive for 13.1 miles inside of two and a half hours. I'm fundraising for AARCS a local animal rescue. I'm dedicating my run to Lenny, a six month old pup who is recovering from being shot and losing a leg after being hit by a car. He didn't give up and will recover.

God bless you, Gayle! You're fantastic!

I'm sure you'll have a great run and raise lots of money for AARCS and Lenny's care.

Picked up my race package. This is my bib. Looks like I'm going to be just short of my fundraising goal, but have more than I expected.
