Yay! I am glad you helped Ralphie find his way home! Another important lesson, please make sure you update microchip information when you move, switch numbers, etc. I have ran I to so many strays with chips but outdated information!

You just reminded me of what I need to do for Mikey! I guess I am a little hypocritical LOL. But he DOES have two tags as well as a chip, which I will soon update.
That's an idea, maybe I can get Ralphie out of the house a little.I do feel bad for him, and if someone had just recognized him I could have walked him right home. and no problem, I can't understand how people could leave a lost pup outside.

Good reminder! And great for helping him get back home. I've definitely encountered this in my neighborhood. If they had a tag on w/at least a phone number, I could have called and they would have been home in a matter of minutes. My dog and cat both are chipped and have tags and I always keep an extra collar w/tag on hand especially for my little feline. I use the quick release collars on her as she likes to slink through the bushes.
Excellent reminder Alyssa! As you know my Levi got the day before Thanksgiving last year. His collar was not on, he is microchipped but it was not current with my information!! Long story short, he is back, and his collar never comes off, ever! I know he liked to wander off and doesn't always come when called!
