Maybe when we try to rescue cats, we should bring along empty boxes with us.
I bet if you put a bowl of food and an empty box on your deck/porch, a wanderer would make a home in it pretty quickly.
They just can't resist a box.

Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

Kuhio, you're absolutely right on that! No matter the size of the cat and the size of the box, somehow they always manage to fit themselves inside. I can't help but laugh watching Groucho settle into a box half his size.

A box placed on the porch with a blanket in it convinced one kitty to become an inside kitty this fall! It took some negotiation with the resident females, but little boy Spike - who got neutered last week - won over Linda (the human) and then went to work of Leia and Smokey
who have just about stopped pouting ...

A video that proves it. No matter the size of the box......or the size of the cat......

We might want to re-think the idea of keeping an empty box on the front porch to entice a wanderer.....

What a great video!!! And you're right - no cat, regardless of size, wild or tame, can resist a box. Thank you so much for posting this
