Thanks Karen yeah not something I would look forward to having again,so far some mild improvement,the stiffness is somewhat better ,the most noticable thing,but still taking strong painkillers with codeine in them,but still pain in the ac joint where the problem is,lot going on,a small tear,arthritis I assume in the ac joint,inflamed bursa and impingement,so cannot expect miracles,fingers crossed though.

My doctor put freezing in the syringe before the cortisone so I felt nothing, he did warn me that when the freezing came out it might still be painful if it didn't work but fortunately it did work and lasted 9 yrs, until I broke my collar bone so it started the process over again. I hope you'll be as lucky as I was.

Thank you everyone,so far the shot is not doing much,it has helped the stiffness and I can move my arm more freely so that is a bonus but still the pain,disappointing.
