The Race is back! Interesting twist-- if the same team wins the first and last legs, they win not one but two million dollars. Wowzers!

Yes, we'll see how it works out, whether other teams will try to bump that team out early, or just not team up with them because of that ... should be interesting!

Hmmm, interesting decision by most of the teams this week not to use the U-Turn. I thought the team who finished second from the last was going to be the last team to arrive by a long time. I thought the one team should have been dinged for telling their driver he just cost them the million dollars. Hey, it's not his fault that they were on the second train.

There are no penalties for being rude, or many teams would have been bumped earlier in previous years!

I wonder if they didn't explain to the contestants that the U-turn would be anonymous!

Oh my goodness, Bangladesh looks like a very poor place. I'm disappointed about the team that got eliminated. I hope the one guy's foot is okay after he stepped into raw sewage, too.

Yes, it is a very poor country. The good thing is the contestant who stepped in the raw sewage at least had someone wash off his foot right afterwards with bottled water, and hopefully he had no open cuts or scratches that would get infected. I was glad that team had a sense of humor about the Fast Forward task, too.

I was not surprised at the elimination, considering how far behind they were, which was really obvious given the angle of the sun by the time time they were approaching Phil.

Did I hear Brent say that he used to be a doctor? I wonder why he changed careers. I also wonder why some of the teams got help from local people moving the bamboo and others didn't.
