So sorry to read of Sydney's passing. He is now pain free & able to play as he did as a kitten.
Im sure you will miss him, but you both will re reunited again one fine day.

SOMEBODY (could it be Princess Poppaea Sabina Eugenia?) seems to have stepped in to perform one of Sydney's previous practices:

Crapping in the bathtub.... !!! ???
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Pat, please accept my belated condolences on the passing of Sydney. He fought a gallant battle, and went to the Bridge well loved. He will be sorely missed.

Thank you so much, wonderful friends. I love you all so much.

They're all kind of figuring out the new dynamics, who goes where when, now that Sydney is not physically present. It certainly is inspiring to see that bathtub-crapping carries on!

I'm so sorry about Sydney. He must have left Princess his "poop in the bathtub" proxy. I'm convinced that when my cats have passed, another takes on some of his or her mannerisms. Spike, for example, never liked a belly scritch until after TicTac passed; now he can't get enough of them!
