Where is Terry? I have a very personal connection with this type of case and, if she's anywhere near the MD/DC area, I would have recommendations. My brother has just lived through this; he had a hip replacement a year ago, developed a MRSA, and was on not only heavy antibiotics, but several cocktails of antibiotics through a pump - for almost a year. He was able to keep the hip (it was touch and go as to whether he would keep his as well) and has now had the second replacement. It can be beaten! Let me know if Terry needs any recommendations. Prayers continue!
