    Yikes, what the heck did she do to them? Leave out the cream and leavening and over bake? I am glad you have since experienced the real things!

    I dunno, but those were the nastiest baked goods I ever had.

    I thought if there ever was a fire in the building, I could have used them to break the plate glass windows to escape.

    Blueberry cake in the oven - okay, cake(s) as I went to make one for my brudder-in-law's 40th birthday party, and realized my 11x13 pans are all in storage, so one 9-inch square one, and a spare 4 inch shallow one are now baking! The whole place smells yummy! Anyone want some ... ?
